Northside Hospital - Director, Respiratory Care

Location: Lawrenceville, GA
Plans, directs and controls the activities in Respiratory Care Services, Pulmonary Function Laboratory and other cost centers as assigned. Oversees the accomplishment or organizational and departmental goals and objective. Reports to a Vice President. Required to frequently apply a set of management principles to a specialized discipline. Must be capable of independent judgment and decision making in the areas of budget, personnel, patient services and administrative or professional programs. Has twenty four hour accountability for assigned areas.
B.S. degree in Respiratory Care or Health Sciences.
Five (5) years clinical experience in each area of Respiratory Care, with at least two (2) years in a supervisory capacity.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state regulatory standards.
PREFERRED: Master’s degree in Business Administration.
License/Certification Requirements: No
Work Hours: 8:30a-5p
Weekend Requirements: No
On-Call Requirements: No
